Carniceria – aka the meat shop – where we buy our meat in PY. There are a plethora of these in every town, all on the side of the road, with carcasses hanging outside like this, unrefrigerated and uncovered. The upside is that the animal is often killed that morning by a family and brought to town early (often in garbage bags on a motorcycle).
